Wireless LAN/WAN Site Surveyor
This position is a ground floor opportunity to take a leading technical role in a new and exciting venture for Hughes Electronics which if successful will result in a spinoff and the career opportunities that it will present.
About the job
The applicant must have a solid grounding in Telecoms and RF principles with extensive experience in the design and maintenance of both LAN and WAN cellular networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for design, implementation and commissioning of cellular LANs in commercial buildings and bringing fault free sites online before handover.
Responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking commercial building site surveys
- Design of cellular LAN to terrestrial WAN networks
- Arranging site access
- Coordinating workloads & site visits for installation engineers
- Installation supervision
- Site commissioning and testing
- Remote diagnostics and fault finding
- Origination and provision of all technical and handover documentation
- Site support and maintenance
- Process development
- Training
Candidates must have man-management skills and specific training in the technical support of Huawei 3900 family of BTS or similar along with site safety certification such as CSS or ISOH and a firm awareness of ISO 9000-2000

Production Assistant
We require people with good dexterity and soldering skills for cable assembly work on key projects.
About the job
You will be working in a small team of people dedicated to success. However, you must be able to show that you are capable of working on your own and will be pro-active in your approach to the role.
Candidates must be personable team players, highly motivated possessed of a can-do attitude, good problem-solving skills and small scale engineering skills.
The candidate will be an active member of the production team.
The position requires:
