Hughes Electronics extend their range of Cellular products to internal and external antennas in the 698-960 and 1700-2700 frequency range.
The new range of internal Top and Mexican hat antennas along with external flat panels are aimed at the fledgling SIM based wireless business systems market such as Vodafone OneNet and the soon to be announced BT OnePhone.
Chantha Ung, senior executive account manager at Hughes Electronics and responsible for the new move said ‘I am very pleased and excited with our new product range’, ‘I have been working with the major provider in this field for some time now and the field trials have produced very exciting results’ I think this market will be explosive.
The new cloud-based communication systems deploy Pico or Micro cellular base stations and Hughes style Digital Antennae Systems in the workspace to create Local Area Cellular Networks to replace fixed line PBX systems which deliver desktop phone and mobile communications through a single platform. The systems hand over seamlessly to the Wide Area Cellular Network when clients leave the building. Chantha commented ‘The new system offers commercial advantages over simple POTS and offer a natural growth area for cellular telephony, once again I’m very proud that Hughes are at the vanguard in supporting these innovative systems.
