Torque tool re-calibration service

We’ve all been there and we all know it, too much torque will deform, shear, or break, your connections, too little and connections end up too loose, allowing them to vibrate, or back off under stress. Both conditions will result in antennae line alarms and remedial call-backs.

Is Your Tool Letting You Down?

From time to time, the precise internal spring mechanism in torque tools falls out of calibration, causing you all manner of problems. A simple recalibration will return the tool to delivering perfect performance, but how do you know your tool is due for torque correction?

Torque wrenches should be calibrated every 5,000 cycles or every 12 months, whichever comes first. Hughes provides a rapid refurbishment service, which resets the all-important torque force to nominal settings, so keeping your tool in top shape couldn’t be easier.
