It has travelled 8,000 miles and passed through the hands of 8,000 people, the torch has 8,000 small circles cut out of it; it has been carried on train, plane, boat, road and foot on its 70day Journey.
We have all been waiting a long time for the Olympics and here they are at last!
The Olympic flame finally passed our building at 10.15 am on Thursday 26thJuly on its way to the Olympic stadium just in time for the start of the London 2012 London Olympics.
Our MD Glyn Hughes nearly fell off the top of our building watching the spectacle; our intrepid photographers Uwa Odaro (production) and Gus Aberdeen (production) took a more down to earth approach however and braved the crowds and security cordon to bring us all a glimpse of the proceedings.
The journey for the flame is almost complete and all that is left for us to say is “Good Luck to all Olympians”
